pretty sure its an automatic process. wouldnt be surprised if they got a bot that brown townyzes images and takes them down by itself

That sort of technology is quite new/experimental afaik.
Google is only just getting into image recognition. Consider how reverse image search mostly just works by identifying colours.

Until recently computers couldn't even distinguish between cats and bunnies.
Not sure how well they do at pulling illega/censored material.

apparently there's already a bot out there by microsoft or whoever that can brown townyze and detect CP
google already has something similar in some of its systems revolving around illegal images. it compares images back to back and picks out similarities. i think it can do the same thing with these reports.

That's pretty cool then. Hopefully that tech helps to stop criminal activities, like producing/distributing cp.
