I wonder how expensive these people were

i find it funny that they list paul reubens as being in pee wee's playhouse SECOND
like oh yeah I remember paul's great performance in tron loving uprising

the female version of the main character looks loving terrifying

like neither of the two versions looks human but the female version looks SO WRONG

What is this going to be like?
A tell tale game, or minecraft?

a stuffty rpg game

this is because instead of using the feminine skin template for the girl character, they're largely just reskinning the male template used for the male versions

it makes the person look like a crossdresser that didn't pay attention to physique imo

ive been waiting
finally
its out  :cookieMonster:

Doesn't look too bad apart from the character models imo

I watched Video Games Awesome play through the first part of it, so it's time for first impressions!

It might be because it's the first episode and there's all this world building and character developing they have to do, but it just looks very boring and hard to get into or feel attached to the characters, except for the pet pig, of all things, and that's mostly because it's kind of the 'comedic relief' character and because i have a soft spot for pet characters, also the mouth animations are pretty awkward looking

The combat doesn't seem bad, per-say, you can move forward and backwards, turn left or right to face different enemies, and of course, attack, if you can time it right, it's not quite like Minecraft, so you'll have to get used to how it works

Of course there's the crafting mechanic, the items are shown as small 3D objects on top of the crafting table which then merge together to create the item you chose to craft, which i think is neat, and they show a menu of available recipes, which is helpful

And then there's the building...

There is none, you just tap or hold a button and the character(s) automatically speed-build whatever it is they need at that point

Fun fact though, Jerry and Mike from Penny Arcade were almost characters

So overall, if this doesn't improve in the coming episodes, i think this could be Telltale's worst episodic game, i rate 5/10, an extra point because the main character's name is Jesse

Steam says it's reviews are mostly positive, which i expected considering it's a Minecraft game and the kind of people that exist that just eat up anything Minecraft, but the helpful reviews  down below, i feel, actually tell it like it is

Good story, crappy graphics

Good story, crappy graphics

Its Minecraft, of course the graphics are going to be still the same like the original game.
