So walking home, I found an iPhone 5c on the road. I picked it up and it was pristine, like someone left it there. I turned it on, and it had a password on it. I brought it home (Bad idea) and I get an alert on it saying it was in "Lost Mode". Lost Mode tracks location so I removed the sim-card and powered off the phone and now its sitting next to me. I cannot restore it. I am scared that they have my location now.
There is a Lost Mode message on the phone, saying "Whoever took my phone you better give it to the front desk or I will I do make you hurt" (what)
Idk who the phone belongs to, but I don't want it anymore. I don't know what the 'front desk' is so I have no idea of where to return it. I feel like I should destroy it, but if the owner comes to my house and asks for his/her phone, I don't want to give him a piece of smashed plastic and metal.
What do I do, forums?
