Quit trying to excuse lazy game design, it's still a problem because you have to buy the other gun at all. In what world is it ever okay for one team's starter weapon (one that new players have no other options to replace it with) to be markedly inferior to the other's?
i guess the "thank you for playing the beta" isn't apparent enough

Which is why it needs to be discussed instead of having the players be lazy twats and dismiss it as "w-well everyone levels up fast anyway its not a problem that one side's gun is straight up better than the other's".

i agree, empire and rebels shouldn't be using each other guns, i was making a point for the beta. but in that case, there will have to be more "neutral" guns in place that make up for the differences in damage/speed/etc. i just think they made the right choice (hopefully it's temporary) for each side to be able to use everything so we can get a feel of the weapons.

so far, as i've been playing this, the game looks good and feels good with occasional skips on ps4 servers as well as my overall stuffty internet, I all around avoid using rifles as I prefer a jump-pack/auto-pistol load out, and I've been doing well with it. I avoid playing Hoth for the most part because I despise the idea as vehicles as power-ups, and it is a very one sided experience. Flying is basically get behind the other ship first, and hope to god you can throw him off with a d-pad/whateveritisonpc maneuver and decelerate and then get behind the guy behind you, as far as I've seen. The fact that the rebels start with a better rifle with the imperials boggles me as to why they'd do they, but I personally don't complain about it as I hardly use either rifle, but it should still be fixed. Perhaps they were trying to go for that 'authentic' storm trooper feel.

I agree with the general consensus of 20~40 price range, though if they offered something with a bit more (and better) vehicle/ship combat, I'd be more inclined to buying it at its price depending on if I'd liked what I saw.

The game IS gorgeous though, I can say that and mean it through and through.

you mean stuffting fury down the neck stump of anyone who isn't a protagonist? because the E-11 in this game doesn't really help recreate that feeling

if you want it to be authentic the E-11 should hit everywhere except where your aiming lol

if you're playing this game in first person, you're playing it wrong

Is there even a third person option for the ps4 version or am I just going blind, dumb, deaf, and dumber?
