Depends on the type of game and content
like if i'm buying fully licensed stuff that's dead on accurate to the real world then i wouldn't mind spending some extra dosh on it
but if its just normal run of the mill stuff that anybody could make then nah bruh i already pay for the game gimme dat for free

play-to-play or pay-to-win? that is the question. if its like tf2 where the microtransactions are merely for cosmetic things that dont affect gameplay its fine. but if its microtransactions for better weapons or stats (like world of tanks or world of warships) then it's pay-to-win, which is total bullstuff as it literally creates a paywall for better success in gameplay.

yeah. the point is that literally nobody says "pay to play"
because, first of all, "P2P" already has a pretty well-established meaning
and second, it's just the default state of a video game. in a normal situation there's no reason to specify that it's not free. and in this situation he could have just said "paid games"
