I'm planning to host this throughout the week and next weekend too.
I probably should have put some background info on the project in the OP, so allow me to correct my mistake.
The idea is to build an island in the middle of a river with a mountain on one side of the riverbank while putting buildings and foliage on both sides. I started this project in 2013, but I'm a very slow builder due to such factors as job, lack of time, losing motivation sometimes. This is why the support of the people in the OP were crucial, they always pushed me to work on this more and more.
Also, I've been thinking about enlisting some help from outside. If you really wish the help here are some areas you could utilize your expertise on:
- Basic interiors - the plan is to have flats and apartments made by the community in the buildings later on. But in order to be able to do that, some basic interiors are required. I tend to leave rooms and staircases unfinished or scruffy, so some quality control and some touch ups would be appreciated;
- Facades - the buildings are looking varied -yet consistent enough- so far, but it might be better for the build itself if there was a little more variety. I'd like to see facades which are unique yet blend in with the build. If your facade ends up being used, then we might alter it to our liking. The reason I don't want full buildings is that they are much harder to find a proper place for, and I want some flexibility when it comes to the layout of the island. If you need some inspiration for the style, try looking up Central European cities, such as Ljubljana, Budapest, Zagreb or Krakow.
