Author Topic: A new Halo 5: Guardians trailer just dropped.  (Read 4616 times)

If only games were as exciting as the trailers.
This quote never made any sense to me. Trailers show content from the game itself. Whats the difference?

but halo 2's campaign seems like it was probably the bomb
My only problem with Halo 2's campaign is any time you have to play as the Arbiter, Covenant weapons just aren't as fun as human weapons (except the Energy Sword), and later on you fight the flood which also aren't as fun

Still waiting for a game focused on the poor neglected marines.

Halo Wars.

Halo 2 was, and probably always will be, my most fav game of all time.

Having 4 plasma and frag grenades? Dual wielding? Split screen local co-op? Going to and destroying a Halo?

Sargent Johnson?
to me it was being this deity (cus that's what john is, he's a sci fi achilles) fighting against an ancient, unfathomable and undefeatable alien entity(covenant, flood, forerunners), amongst these crazy and diverse set-pieces, and that awesome fact that despite being this unstoppable demon, you're essentially always losing and fighting an up-hill battle.

this just looks like a cheesy CoD story. there's nothing interesting in the lore of these new halos

i thought the song fit the trailer well even tho i don't like the song like, at all

Halo has always had good story, it's just that new developers and gameplay mechanics and annoying graphics-hungry 9-year-olds sadly cause people to overlook the most important part of any game.
It's story.
Halo 4's story was great, as equal as the Bungie games. But for the reasons said above, people over look it.

Dude, Muse is awesome!

This made me laugh, because the majority of people would have used 12-13 as the go-to ages for annoying little kids, but you had to use 9 because you're actually 13

Regardless, I could not give a rat's ass about resolution or graphics.
And I try to be as least annoying online as I can.

halo 4's story was loving terrible. It introduced a bunch of stuff characters, including the villain who's completely unrelatable, and it had terrible loving gameplay. Not to mention all the loving plotholes. And before you say " o u hav 2 reed teh b00ks" I shouldn't have to read the books to understand this stuff story.

Halo Wars.
Shooter not RTS, plus Halo Wars was a stuffty RTS anyway. Everyone knows that the Console is suited for the RTS genre. Just ask Supcom 2 and Command and Conquer 64.

Halo 2's got a strong nostalgia factor for me since it was the first M rated game and first shooter i ever played (yes, i did play this before i even played the first one)

And the 'Red vs Blue' series by Rooster Teeth was also going through Halo 2 when me and my brother found out about it, and that helped me get more into Halo in general

Dude, Muse is awesome!
And speaking of firsts, i went to a concert they had a few years ago in the Nassau Coliseum, it was an amazing experience
