I WAS NEVER GOOD AT JAVA

>not being good at java

Welp, you are a failure at OOP all together, congrats!

System.out.println("you're all gay");
std::cout << "thanks" << std::endl;
Anybody mind posting some resources so people could interactively learn code? All I know/remember is codecademy.
it depends on what language you're trying to learn

also thanks zsno

Realtalk here, you must be some sort of savant to tame the beast that is java. Java has such an abhorrent disregard for human life I'm surprised the higher ups at oracle haven't been arrested and thrown in the slammer for crimes against humanity

You say that as if a programmer can't function without OOP

Everything must be an object, EVERYTHING!

I just want to wrap up my major project so I can leave C# and start tackling C++. I've started learning it and I understand pointer logic now, but I can't continue while there's still C# stuff to code.

Structured is so loving annoying in my opinion, and it's C that ruined it for me.

Quote
Structured programming is a programming paradigm aimed at improving the clarity, quality, and development time of a computer program by making extensive use of subroutines, block structures and for and while loops—in contrast to using simple tests and jumps such as the goto statement which could lead to "spaghetti code" which is difficult both to follow and to maintain.

How do you not prefer that?
The alternative is just a mess

Because of a lack of features and limitations of structured programming

yeah i code

dont hit on me silly boys... ;)

I'm guessing you need java to get a programming/science degree, huh

Because of a lack of features and limitations of structured programming
if structured programming has a "lack of features" then unstructured programming is the mother of all featureless programming ways
