I remember when tribes 2 got released from for free officially. That was nice. It is also worth noting that the old Tribes games were Torque engine games.

only Tribes 2 and Aerial Assault were Torque. Vengeance was Unreal 2 and the first game was another engine.

Ascend is bad. The introduction of "classes" was meh, the free to play style of locking classes and having to grind them was meh, speed caps are awful, and screw the cosmetics.
