Author Topic: how much do you associate user's avatars with the users themselves?  (Read 3084 times)

I wonder what my avatar says about me.

But yeah, I tend to remember avatars better than usernames.

i remember people mainly by avatar and avatar choice
i also somewhat associate personality with avatar

im still trying to accept camels new avatar
it's like hes a different man entirely now

A lot.
I very rarely change mine too, so I hope people can identify me easily from my avatar.

I'm curious as to what's the important part about my avatar, that people identify. Is it the martian, the flag, the colours, or all of it?
'Cause I've changed out the martian for a pikachu during the pikachu month the other year, and changed the flag to France for a period, and had a different colour to the England flag for the past month.

I'm curious as to what's the important part about my avatar
for me it's the motion of the martian

most people who seldom change their avatars become more and more memorable to me.

also yeah i think the martian is the best part. what country is that flag

It's the flag of England, right?

that's classified information how did you know that

I know that for the same reason I know what SBG truly stands for... Uh... Something Bezopasnosti Gosudarstvennoy!

I usually don't care what an avatar is, but if someone changes it often I'll probably forget them

so yeah, an avatar is important to identify someone

Satan's avatar doesn't promote child enthusiasm, it does promote trash-tier waifus though
Exactly my reason.

it definitely helps me in identifying someone, but if I don't recognize an avatar I just look at the name and then I usually remember who they are, unless they only post like a couple times a month

Yes, whenever someone changes their avatar i forget everything about them
