Author Topic: List some good singleplayer vs bot games  (Read 2679 times)

lmao
Running with Rifles has it since the offline feels like one of those mega servers you see with 64 players in certain games.
oh my god I completely forgot about that game

http://store.steampowered.com/app/346120/
it looks bad graphics-wise, but it's supposed to look like a 2007 flash game
there are a lot of gamemodes and cusomisation options, so each match you play can be different from the last
the bots even act like players, even down to saying messages in chat
you unlock more weapons as you play, starting out with an assault rifle, pistol and frag grenade. might put you off but i personally like having something to work towards
and it's completely free, with no microtransactions
my only gripe is that the game will sometimes reset your level once it updates, along with all your weapon unlocks

Cortex Command is probably one of the best singleplayer vs bot games I've played considering you don't have to contruct additional pylons unlock anything. Steam Workshop is also supported for the game, which means it's easier to install mods for the game even though it's extremely easy already. Just collect gold, fight your enemies, kill their brain case, and you win.

This is how easy it is to install mods.

I even made a thread about the game, even though hardly anyone posted stuff in it.

Also, you can make a skeleton army.

And kill people with crabs. (No, not the louse.)

your missing out on ut2004 mods, get CTF4 and TDM4, get soundpacks, get the ballistic weapons mod, get more skins/playermodels and get more maps. I have so much fun with ut2004 with all these mods and you will too, I have about 29 hours on record from playing just the single player with bots and mods

Total Annihilation is a pretty good single player vs bots RTS.

Beware though, the AI is much better than you will ever be.

star wars battlefront 2

There is a PC exlcusive mode which let's play play I think 64 vs 64 bot battles on certain maps. This game is the best thing to come out of star wars.

Oddworld strangers wrath

Ai will kick your ass if you don't plan things out

COD: Black Ops 2 had some atrocious AI.

Oh trust me I have all those you listed minus the soundpacks, hell yeah ballistic weapons with 4 teams is the loving bomb. I just played that recently and I turned down the over-the-top recoil to 0.00 and the accuracy to 0.10 and it's 50 times better.
