Author Topic: We got a pretty big asylum seeker/refugee problem here in the EU  (Read 5961 times)

-snip-
I was just referring to myself when I said that they will not accommodate you. I also wrote more but edited out because it was borderline rant.

not in switzerland

move there :cookieMonster:
Switzerland isn't in the EU either, they're pretty much the only country nearby that has their stuff together. Then again, that's only the case because immigrating there is probably the hardest thing you can do.

The best thing about all of this is that I pay a forgetload of taxes for my age (like 20% off of my stuffty €5/hr income). Part of that goes to the asylum seekers, who get €50/day for doing nothing. They all have iPhones.

I used to go to school by train and bus, but that's now impossible because they're always filled with asylum seekers. Filled as in I don't fit anymore. That's why I bought a scooter. I now have to freeze to death for 50 mins each morning on my stuffty Yamaha while the bus funded by my loving taxes is filled with asylum seekers.

this makes me so loving angry and i live in the US

Guns are illegal in Europe.
Pretty sure single shot muskets are allowed to be owned without license. Pretty sure sporting rifles are also legal in new GDR.

You'd be surprised.
Things that are already illegal in the Netherlands:
Brass knuckles
A knife
Pepperspray
Flare guns
Crossbows (not normal ones though, I do archery as a sport so I have a recurve bow)
Air pressure guns that remotely resemble normal guns or have a muzzle velocity over 100m/s

If you are caught with a knife the maximum penalty is 9 months in jail or a €4500 fine.
Ilegally owning a gun is €45000.

I live in a town of 1500 like I said in the op. There are 3500 asylum seekers now. Our public transit is equipped for like 1000 people a day, but the asylum seekers ALL go shopping at the Primark in Eindhoven every single loving day. The path from the asylum seeker center to the bus stop is literally COVERED in empty Primark bags, I lost traction on the rear wheel of my scooter and almost fell once because of wet, trampled Primark bags on the cycling lane.

EDIT: that's where they forgeted up. You see, the second you contaminate our DUTCH CYCLING LANES some ancient rage gene awakens and votes for the PVV:

Too bad elections aren't for another 2 years.

I understand but still, the closer you get to the czech republic the less asylum seekers you find. Even in dresden its not much of an issue. in fact some great new restaurants have opened up due to the influx of asylum seekers.

Yeah they're pretty scared of Putin. At least you got restaurants, we got absolutely jack stuff that could be called positive.
