Author Topic: Is Black Ops 3 any good?  (Read 3735 times)

An update was released today that made my game jump in FPS really far ahead, like, I went from barely being able to run lowest to running medium-high pretty well, and there's only more to come.

The game is hella addictive especially with friends. The new 'nightmare' mode is also really, really, really cool. Haven't done it yet, but about to.

because they probably have never played a CoD game in their lives and only clicked on this thread to "contribute" an unhelpful negative response so they could brag about how they hate CoD to their cool internet friends
Expect that I have played Call of Duty games...

>pc
>cod

choose one
lol anyway ill probably buy it for xbone because most of my friends are getting xbones and i dont really play on anything besides my xbone wii u and pc soooo
Go for the xbox version the PC version is currently an un-optimized forget, the framerates are absolutely terrible even on high end hardware, seems they forgeted up the pc port.

I would consider this a pretty different call of duty game, for once it feels like a new game, and zombies are really fun as always, also for some reason I get a bioshock feel from the city of shadows.

alright so, compared to black ops 1 and 2 its not good, compared to ghosts and advanced warfare, it's okay.

kinda what i needed to know
i wasted my money on ghosts

my big brother told me that zombies aren't split screen anymore
False, I just played yesterday on a friend's console.

call of duty died after Blops 2, kinda like halo died after reach.

nvm nightmare mode is a HUGE letdown.
It starts off badass and looks like it has gigantic potential.... then it crumbles down SO loving far.

Like, it literally looks like they were making the campaign, then suddenly someone switched all the NPCs to zombies as a joke, and the dev's said, "Hey, let's make that a seperate campaign :D!" however they never actually updated this seperate campaign to be as up-to-date as the new one.
Many, many glitches, no dialogue, some things are missing, lazily edited in stuff.

It's CoD.  Therefore it's stuff.

its pretty good yeah. same old shooting arcade goodness you get from the previous games. only downside is that the story mode gets worse and worse every new release.

my big brother told me that zombies aren't split screen anymore
i just played splitscreen with my friend on zombies two days ago so your big brother is a sissy liar

It's Post-WW2 CoD. That should already answer the question of whether it's good with a big whopping "No".

Wtf the Vietnam parts in blops1 were good

Ya I've been wanting a CoD in Vietnam

campaign is just the same as all other blops, stuffty cutscenes in 10fps, snappy animations, and so many of the same loving enemies to kill that it gets really boring after the 3rd mission.

zombies is pretty fun, very hard though and the map is quite complex

multiplayer is also fun but there are lots of network problems. for example, one of the problems that I had were that I kept getting kicked from online as soon as i went onto multiplayer, so after 10 mins of searching, the working solution was to...
wait for a minute when you load cod up without pressing any buttons. Yup that's the dumbest loving bug I've ever seen.
