I'm playing it right now. It's actually really difficult.

Like, mobs aren't a joke, and you need to slow down and use tactics like you would in the original Rogue or NetHack.

Compared to those games, it's much more difficult, but still fun and enjoyable.

I'd say it's on par with Sky.

Yeah I know, thanks for the headsup though.

I guess I'm interested in the mystery dungeon serious because it isn't like the mine line of games, and rouge-likes are cool. :P
Something about the main line seems somewhat boring to me, not sure what. I know it can get pretty intense later in the game, but not sure I'd want to spend the time to get there.

Bought it, great so far, very happy with what they've done from the 30 minutes I've played

• Text is much sped up from GTI
• Older sound effects return, thank god, they sound a lot better and not as "goofy" as in GTI
• Personality quiz is back
• Hunger system is back, and difficulty is ramped up (This might only be me, I just enjoyed these systems)
• Better story and pretty good art
• Music is great as always.
