lol, you're missing the point
You can use it for a gaming PC, it's just that it's cheaper and less reliable (aka not recommended for high performance builds).
If he's shelling out $600 for a GTX980ti then he shouldn't buy a lesser quality PSU, especially when the HX series is literally $10 more.

I should have researched, this was on me. But for now I don't really have a choice so hopefully it won't fail on me.

Can't return due to a bill plan thing hard to explain

shove in a battery covered in vaseline, should give that extra amount of power.

for some reason I had a stroke of luck and my case came in 2 weeks earlier yay me

mmmm yes

this case was so much better then I originally thought.

There is plenty of room if you remove some hard drive cages and it has 4 more mounting points for SSD's / HD's

IT LOOKS SO CLEAN.

I managed to cram so so much into an h440. A 280rad, two 140 rads, 2 video cards.

This thing was so much bigger then I thought jesus christ

So I assembled my computer and it posted a few times, however it was random. It would decide to post a few times and other's it won't ( I don't get bios on my monitor)

I then tried the power button on my motherboard and it worked so I assumed it was my power button input that was wrong. I replugged everything and now the motherboard power button won't even post now.

HELP

try to spark the two pins manually with a screwdriver or metal piece
try sparking the CMOS clear button

try another power supply on it
remove everything except for graphics, cpu, and ram parts, no optical drives or hard drives

Check the ATX and CPU power cables, make sure they're in properly. Check the front IO header, make sure you've put the right cables on the right pins. Try booting with just one stick of RAM if you have more than one.
