So unless anyone is not asleep at this point, could I assume that y'all fell asleep due to exhaustion?

Accepted.  Starting location?  Also wooden mallet or flint knife?

Thick forest in the north, by a river. Flint knife.

Alright, you're in the near middle of the forest between the Northern Tributary.

Also may allow for naming of features at some point.

Punch a tree

Go around looking for animals to stab. Food is important. On the way, see if you can get some branches for firewood.

Svala wanders around for a while.  After about 15 minutes, she hears deer barking noises from the southeast.

Svala also picks up a few good, dry sticks.

Try to sneak up on the deer. Save the sticks for if she gets the kill so she can cook it immediately; if they get too heavy, though, drop em.

Svala tries to approach quietly, but the crunching of leaves underfoot results in the creature scampering off before it could be in sight.

As morning comes, Blatsa awakes.  He quickly gathers tinder for his fire and attempts to re-light it.

Blatsa gathers some sticks and lights a small fire yet again.  He didn't exactly sleep for very long, or very well at that, but he is glad nonetheless.

Faraji and Loec wake to the sound of birds tweeting and crows cawing.  After a moment, they look outside to see a single curious burogi inspecting the embers of their fire.

Blatsa, still tired, lays his head back down on the soft leaf pillow.

Blatsa isn't exactly able to fall asleep, but feels slightly better rested after some time.

Alright then.

Blatsa gets up, and decides it is a good time to begin with the bolgil, and skins it.  After skinning it, he then begins cutting off good chunks of meat from the back end of the animal, laying them out next to the fire.
