Blatsa rubs the spores with his opposite hand, to see what happens.
His hands feel somewhat numb after this.  It is uncertain whether this is the cold, the spores, or a combination of both.

An angry-sounding squeal is heard in the distance upriver.

"Yes. I have tried them before," Faraji replies, eating one of the mushrooms.
Loec reluctantly puts one in his mouth, chews, and swallows. "Better than nothing..." He fuels the fire a bit more, "We need to hunt," he looks at the sun, which has just set over the mountaintops, "But not in the dark. Shall we try to sleep?"

Blatsa attempts to gather more spores, before hurrying back to the warm fire.

"This is a good time to rest, yes."

Blatsa bathers a handful of spores.  (Where do you store them?)

While walking back, he hears the squeal again, and then looks to his left to see an angry tusked wild pig charging at him from 50 odd feet away.

(Where do you store them?)
Just carrying them in his hand.

Blatsa acts quickly, widening his stance and bending his knees slightly, with the spores in one hand and his knife in the other.  As the Bolgil quickly approaches, he tosses the spores at the charging animal's face, while strafing out of its way!

The Bolgil follows through on its charge, and when it turns back around to charge again, it seems to have less energy.  It seems to slow down, sneezing and blowing its nose.  Suddenly, in a state of strange confused panic, it squeals in fear and anger, and charges at a tree, gashing itself with a broken limb.  It begins hyperventilating and scrambles to its feet, running around in random directions.  The Bolgil squeals wildly in confusion.

Blatsa attempts to get behind the Bolgil in its confused charge, chasing it wildly as it runs around in random directions.  If successful, he would then attempt to tackle the Bolgil down, and stab its neck with his knife.

Heshimun considers his current situation reasonably safe, but remains watchful, scanning the area by whatever light there is.

Blatsa manages to catch up with the Bolgil and tries to tackle it.  In a last ditch attempt to fight off some imaginary monster, the Bolgil kicks Blatsa in the leg, giving him a nasty bruise and scraping his leg somewhat.

Blatsa tackles the Bolgil and slits the wooly creature's throat, ending its misery.  The hot blood gushes for a moment as the animal struggles.  As the animal goes limp, it trickles out slowly.

«Blatsa has levelled up!  Fighting: LVL 5.  Blatsa is now able to specialize in Fighting if he wishes.»

The moon and stars overhead can be seen through the trees.  All that can be seen is the sky, the ground, and more trees.  There appears to be no threat at this time.  The chilly wind howls through the trees.

On we go.  Blatsa drags the bolgil back to camp, and decides to save the work for the morning.  He gathers a sizable pile of leaves from the trees around him, and creates a makeshift pillow, upon which he rests his head.

If something doesn't have an actual crafting recipe in the recipes, what does that mean

Faraji eats another mushroom, and drinks from the nearby river.

If something doesn't have an actual crafting recipe in the recipes, what does that mean
Things should have their crafting recipes already.  If you look under the Details section, you should be able to see the crafting recipes underneath the item name and description.  If I didn't answer your question, PM me for clarification.

Also new poll.

Additionally I made it easier for people to obtain sticks and rods since I realized that previously it required an axe.

Sorry, was busy today.

Hocef finally builds her fire, warming herself in her accomplishment. After that, she passes out. Tomorrow will be a better day for food.
