Veshikk takes the smaller rib bones and whittles them down into needles for sewing. He puts them on the ground for later. In the meantime, he curls up in a corner and sleeps.

Veshikk makes 3 needles for sewing and gets some good amount of rest.

Hocef decides a fire is the best thing in this weather. She feels bad for anything outside in that storm. She again prepares logs for the fire pit and attempts to light another fire.

Hocef ignites some kindling and lights it.  The logs take a long time igniting, since they were freshly cut temperate trees, but they eventually burn.  They release a heavy black smoke that seems to hang in the cave.  At least the cave is warm, though.

With the twine, Blatsa begins to sew together a fur coat.
The process, although it would take him until morning, produces him a long fur coat with which he can stay fairly warm.  From the Bolgil carcass that he took from remains three intestines, a skin (without hair), and a few large bones.

Instead of sewing together the coat, which would take until morning, Blatsa uses the furs as blankets, and nods off next to the fire.

Veshikk waits until morning or when the storm subsides, whichever comes first.

Hocef finds an area around the fire with the least amount of smoke blowing toward her and passes out. She reflects that she has to eat and drink soon.

Accepted.  You start with a stone axe.

Since it's kinda awful weather right now and you basically can't see anything, you can start after midnight, PST, which is dawn in-game.  The storm will also be over by then.  However, if you like, you can begin now.

Perhaps the time scale needs to be modified. While I'm not sure that speeding it up too much would be great (people are busy, I understand), the thread just idling like it is now while we wait for a real life time is... somewhat silly.

It really ought to be judged on player activity. So, for example, over the weekends and holidays time would likely move along faster due to players being more available, but during the week it would proceed slower. More specifically, time may pass more slowly during the first half of a day during the work week than the last half due to people being out of work or school.

There's a huge ice storm here in Oklahoma City and almost 100,000 people don't have power including me and there's like looters and stuff. Sooo I don't know if I can go into stasis or something.

That's the idea I had.  You may have noticed that it has been converted to the three-way split between Morning, Afternoon, and Night.  This way, people have more natural opportunity to act during the day.  I'd like to experiment with this one, but I will keep those ideas in mind.  I haven't run something like this before, so I want to experiment with some timescales.

Right now, I'll just jump ahead to dawn since we're waiting.  An extra two hours can't hurt.

No worries.  You seem to not be having much luck from what I've heard of your life as of late.

Okay, Loec is essentially spirited away.  If everyone is okay with it, I'm going to allow Miko to simply spawn Loec back convenient point back at his current location with the stats and stuff he started with, conditions forgiven.

Does anyone know if Zoltan is still active on the forums as of late?

im at a friends house atm could I also be in stasis

Blatsa wakes up, feeling quite refreshed with his extra two hours of sleep.  He then sets to work on his coat.
