You guys do make some fair points. I'm not at all concerned with the results of the other polls, except for the most recent one and this one. The last one was not massively altered, but it was potentially unfair. This poll has seen a sharper increase in vote rigging.
So how about this: I seriously request that all polls for here on forward are not tampered with. There is no reason to rig any of these polls as I had no intent of handing out any sort of award other than "immortalizing" your name in a yearly popularity contest.
I'm also willing to call tiebreaker polls at the end of the regular voting sessions. If I would do that, I would put McJob up against Camel in the first poll, and then Nickpb up against the third place winner of this poll. As far as I can see, there is a good chance that Swollow and Pecon did not have their votes rigged just because of their nature on the forums and they don't have friends who would be that desperate for them to win (plus they've actually made contributions).
