**Request** Deletion Wand

I have a request to make a deletion wand...

You know how the new duplicator allows you to select a cube and dupe whats in the cube...

I would like something like that but for deleting...

First things first, don't do that.

Alright, so you want a 'reverse-duplicator' we have one already in the game. The wand. Good for pushing players, destroying everything, and yes.

That is not what I want, I want it so you can select an area, like the new duplicator, because i don't want to destory everything in a modter for example

I don't see this as being a bad idea. I was just modifying some chairs recently and had to delete them one by one at either the legs with the wand or the top down. I went the longer route because i didn't want to delete the base of the entire house and lose what i had built.

Anyhow, i think having a selection cube for deleting is a way better idea because it would be fast, like the wand, and safe, like hammering bricks from top down. This should be a feature added to the new duplicator imo.

Not exactly got the freedom I need, what if I wanted to delete 6x? there is no freedom...

There's a 4x as well

There's a pref to make it admin only. If it's off, any player can use them to delete their own bricks, or bricks of full trusted players

Am I the only one that get's this guy? Yes, we already have a destructo wand, but a wand like the new duplicator but in cubical  form, selecting bricks and pressing delete, Would be much faster then going one by one. That's actually a really good idea.

Just use the existing deletion cubes
I've never had an issue with the predefined sizes being restrictive, and it has the advantage of using the already familiar building mechanics, rather than introducing new mechanics (and possibly new key binds) to place, move, and resize a selectable area, then delete.
