What?.. They added a black guy and two chicks and one of them doesn't even do anything. Thats such an odd speculation. They're being more open? id ont get it
At least episode 7 has more females then the other movies.

Im not talking about main characters. Reread what i very clearly posted.

The Scottish people talking really clearly took me out of the film a bit. I'm from Scotland and no one talks that clearly :cookieMonster:

I watched it and I really didn't like it.

rip han solo and kylo ren

rip han solo and kylo ren

kylo ren is still alive; remember that snuke snoke guy saying to get him and prepare him for his final training or whatever?

I have a feeling Kylo Ren was J.J. Abrams attempting (and succeeding) at making a better Anakin than George Lucas could. The whole shebang with the angst and the emotional rampage stuff was there, and at times it actually felt like he was struggling to be the bad guy

Disney will have him turn good in epp 9, just before his death.

Because predictable

Well yeah his character is 100% predictable.

In the next movie he's going to be struggling with the fact that he killed his dad and probably weigh the pros and the cons and then be the good guy because reasons

If Kylo Ren stays as a bad guy throughout the series then I'll be legitimately shocked

The movie is like... Exactly the plot of epp4 lol

I'd say it's more along the lines of it trying to be a soft reboot of episode IV than anything. It is definitely dripping full of fanservice but that's to be expected

It's literally a reboot of ep 4, like really. Compare the two movies, and you have the exact same plot.

The girl who lives 1,000 years already said she's lived long enough to see stuff repeat itself

I dunno if this is an exaggeration or you haven't seen either movies, but when I say soft reboot, I was saying the movie was trying to be similar enough to episode IV without being a blatant ripoff. It looks like they made a purposefully recursive plot to set up something more interesting but that's just an assumption.

Gathered from what I picked up on the movie I think they're going to go with an "Unless X character breaks the mold and becomes the good guy the vicious cycle of the dark and light side are going to continue indefinitely" or something
