Whilst 16 is the age of consent in the UK, you will not get arrested for having consensual love under 16. Police come into schools throughout the UK and tell you that the worst they would do is talk about consent to you.

If it is underage and there was not consent them that's where the law comes into.

Age of consent laws exist to protect kids from predators
