Author Topic: Why do grades matter/Education argument thread  (Read 9990 times)

It sounds to me that your just lazy and that you don't want to do any real work in life.
Is this just you projecting or what? You feel everyone should go to military school because you're such a lazy schmuck?

I guess Einstein, da Vinci, Bell and the millions of lovely individuals who spend their hours doing non-physical/non-military jobs which make your life easier and allow you to be here on this forum arguing with us today are all just lazy cunts too.

Sparta was a country that focused too heavy on military, and not enough on arts and education and look what happened

You're acting like you're going to be forced into the military forever instead of the 2 years. You can go to whatever university course you want to after you're done military school.

Or it remains an opt-in system because not every kid is going to benefit from 2 years of military school over something else.

honestly if i was forced into military school i'd spend all my time trying to get out

stuff im out of school and all i know how to do is fight and military tactics because they were never strong on math or science or any other subjects
might as well join the military, college is out of my league.

grades are used as a matter of how good you are at doing your work in class, some argue that it's just a measure of being able to memorize the work

Nice straw man. Where did I say that Military School would replace high school?

Not every kid is going to benefit from high school. High school should be an opt-in system.

it sure forgetin would if its mandatory
by your logic, when will this come, before or after highschool?

After.

Whether or not high school should be mandatory is pretty irrelevant to your argument. High school not benefiting all students is not justification to make military school mandatory.

You're supporting a dumb idea with even dumber logic

After.
so highschool remains a stuffbag place because no one "learned respect" untill afterwards, and by two years later, you arent as skilled at main subjects as you were before because you're too busy being forgeted up the ass by some hard instructor trying to teach you respect

After.
i dont want to loving be in a non-specialized school until i'm 20

All I did was take your argument and replace "high school" and "military school".

Most students who take university take first year anyway. That's a non issue.
