Seems that the initial Archwing quest is broken in the current update.
After having constructed the archwing, you're directed to complete a mission on Venus. However, attempting to enter the mission brings up the message that you need to own an archwing and have completed the archwing quest first, the same message that you get if you try to play any other archwing mission.

A few others on the warframe forums seem to have the same issue.

I'm having trouble downloading the newest update: in the "checking for new content" part it takes forever to finish (often with speeds at like 15-200 kB/s even though taking a speedtest says I have a 3 MB/s connection) and it freezes once it reaches 100%

I'm having trouble getting back into this game.
I have a starter Mag with a Paris Mk I.
What's especially hard is clearing missions, since I can't shoot accurately with my bow, and all I do is get pummeled by Grineer firepower or be ousted by Corpus shielding.
Help??

bows, being sniper-like weapons, aren't all that great at close range so keep your distance and use your secondary/melee when confronted

also bows deal mostly puncture damage, which isn't very effective against health/shields (which is mostly what the grineer and corpus, respectively, primarily have for protection) so i'd prolly rely on other weapons

also they have a little bit of travel time so lead your targets vertically/horizontally

ik but when I try to snipe those grinnies they like
freak out and sound the damn alarm and I'm like swamped in amputee clones or greedy goys
