Of course you'll have those people who are like "new testament is a copout!!"

Of course you'll have those people who are like "new testament is a copout!!"
people often have that misconception that the new testament teaches "i'm a christian, and jesus has saved me, now i can do whatever i want", but a quite different message is taught in the text. Paul frequently emphasizes in his letters about the fruit of the spirit and how faith without works is dead, because true belief is followed by works, which is not done in order to be saved, but is done out of love for jesus.
And just the other day I was reading in 1st John where John was talking about how if anyone claims they love jesus but do not follow his commandments, then they are liars and the truth is not in them.

my lord and savior is google

google is the true god

I'm a Christian, but I do not affiliate with any specific denomination. I love science and have a lot of my own interpretations of how and why things have happened that allow for a young earth in the midst of the "proof" of everything being billions of years old.

Atheism isn't a faith, which i was assuming this topic was focused on faiths.

Actually it is. In order to be a Christian (just an example, since it's what I know more about), you have to have faith in God existing. In order to be an atheist, you have to have faith that no gods exist. Sure, as an atheist, you use science as your right-hand man to back your claim that no gods exist, but you cannot ultimately prove that no gods exist.

I am agnostic
which is not a faith. in fact it is the opposite of a faith. I have faith in nothing whatsoever

Yes it should.
It's not a religion, but it's still a valid view to hold and is an option that needs to be represented
this.

Think of the atheist option as the "none of the above" option.

Anyway, I am a Christian.

To clarify:

Atheism is staying up there. This is a topic about religious views, and Atheism is considered a view on religion. It is perfectly valid and people have the right to choose it as an option if they really desire.

Roman Catholic but I haven't gone to mass recently

Born and raised as a Christian in the Church of England.
Technically, the CofE is both Catholic and Reformed, but it's best described as Anglican/Protestant.

However, I now identify myself as Agnostic.
I do not claim that there is or isn't a God/gods, and I can not until there is definitive proof to say there is or isn't one/any.

furthermore, if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to vote
I don't think anyone here dislikes it tho. I think they were just confused based on the title like i was

Also Anglicans still exist?
