I figured you would like to know that

I was wondering if I should get it or not. Most of the games don't interest me but would fix all those broken textures in gmod. Should I get?

It cost me $50 several years ago and therefore didn't contain CS:GO, so I'd say it's a good enough deal

It's not that it isn't a great deal, it is that I don't think I would play most of them. The Half Life games I would probably play all the way through and the leave them. Wouldn't even touch the CS games. Might play left 4 dead. Would play Portal.

You don't need to buy all of those games if you only want Garry's Mod textures. Probably only CS:S, Ep2.

The only "broken" textures in gmod are if you are playing TTT and you dont have CS:S installed. gmod already has all the HL2 textures installed.

i have around 2.3k hours in gmod and i'm gonna tell you right now: you dont need to buy stuff to replace the missing textures.

just go download some cs:s textures, people go richarding around saying its essentially piracy but it isn't, why?

because you can get the textures from steamcmd and downloading the cs:s dedicated server which is free to download, garry has even stated this before i believe. he just can't package the textures with the game because of legality reasons, like how you can't package a free to play games textures into another free to play game. valve has different rules about this then most companies allowing gmod to at least go this far, if valve was like any other company gmod wouldnt even exist.

hl2 ep2 is the one exception to the rule and gmod does NOT include ep2 textures. so if you're gonna buy anything for textures buy that.
if you don't like loving about with textures every time you fresh install gmod, go ahead and buy that too.

and the fact you can download textures right off the steam workshop. i mean why would steam allow that if it's piracy?

just go to CS Cheater and download the textures you need, its 100% legal.
