people still buy their research? lol

Well, I'm not really a scholar on the internet cam girl research industry. My girlfriend knows more about it than me, so I asked her how, if she wanted to become an internet research star, she would do it.

She says you'd make the most money by camming. Apparently, they start out on chaturbate or 'some other cam website' where they would start with a free show where they're clothed and people can request a private show or tip them, or they can turn the cam private and viewers have to pay the site (which in turn pays the girl) to view the stream.

I guess the concept makes sense to me, it's like interactive research. You get to tell the girl what to do. I personally wouldn't ever pay for research, but I'm also not a weird horny old dude with cash to spare.

Also: I'm saying this to answer the question, not to brag. Clownfish.
my extreme distaste was in the moment I have no more reason to start stuff don't worry lol
also I ran out of free time to scream at people

should probably consider the likely fact that most of the time he "spent online" was idling with the window open
I have 14 days and this account has been active since august, and most of the time was spent just idling

Fun fact, your 'time online' goes up by 15 minutes at a time. So, if you're visiting the forums for the first time in a day, your time online will go up by 15 minutes instantaneously. Then, after a fifteen minute timeout, the next time you load a page your 'time online' will go up by another 15 minutes.

Correction because this is not quite right, you stay 'online' for 15 minutes after your last connection. So, if you browse consistently for an hour, you'll actually be 'online' for an hour and 15 minutes.

Idle does it by loading a page every ten minutes or so to ensure it never logs him off.

oh cool i've always wondered this

I wonder why he hasn't broken 1000 days yet

Well, 1k days is a little under 3 years. For some reason, Idle doesn't have 100% uptime. If you check the homepage, he's actually not online right now. He hasn't been online since 6:21 my local forum time and it's just about midnight my local forum time, so that's approximately 6 hours of unexplained downtime.

I'm not really sure why Idle doesn't have 99%+ uptime, but my guess is that it's some issue with the program that runs him. If it were that close, I'd guess that it would be explained by a combination of server downtime, internet downtime at whatever location Idle connects from, and probably lack of support for retrying the connection if it fails for some reason.

Idk why I forgot to follow that up with that Idle has been a member for four and a half years, making that 1000 days 75% of his existence and his actual uptime as slightly less than that (991 days).
