Coffee doesn't actually keep people awake unless it was their first time drinking anything with caffeine before.

Once you get use to coffee it won't do stuff to keep you awake. People who believe they need coffee to function have been fed lies.
This is pretty true actually.
If you regularly drink coffee then you're actually just combating the withdrawal effect of not having coffee.
You're at no more energy than someone who doesn't drink coffee.

Maybe I missed it but did anyone mention that you can still shift the vehicle with a cup in your shifting hand? Obviously it's safer to not do but it's far from impossible or even difficult.

of course pie crust picks the handicap method and drives with his knees

It called "living dangerously".

As for the coffee, I'm well aware as a biology student but w/e.

This is a truck we're talking about. You need to slam the gear in even with the clutch.

yeah, dangerously to yourself an others you realize

the reason why helmets aren't really enforced is because it's only a danger to yourself. if you fall without a helmet and get a concussion, sucks for you. but in a car, any dumb thing you do can injure or kill someone else.

It's called 'being a prick at other people's expense'

Then put down the coffee. The coffee is what is really making you tired.

Are helmets not required/enforced for motorcyclists where you are?

They're a legal requirement here, and you're guaranteed to be stopped if you're not wearing them.
What's not required though, is any level of body protection, like leathers. You could go riding your bike down the motorway at 70mph in just a pair of shorts provided you had a helmet on.

Although police probably will stop you to suggest you get some proper leathers on.

Helmets aren't required here either but should you get into an accident, the judge will automatically declare innocent on the causer of said accident. (Note that motorcycles have priority over other vehicles so if a motorbike rams a car and hurts himself, it would be the car's fault)

why would it be any different just because it's a motorcycle? that's kinda ridiculous

argentina is a ridiculous country

It's Argentina though. If helmets aren't even required then no area of the law regarding motorcyles is going to be logical.

IMO, if you ride a motorcycle without a helmet or leathers, you deserve to have your skin shredded along the road, and your head crushed against a car.
