What would be considered minimum requirements internet wise? Is it entirely speed based or are there other obstacles?
speed and latency are both important
latency is also called ping. it refers to how long it takes for a piece of data to get from one place to another, and the lower the better
I used this once or twice on internet that was average at best, and it worked fine
but no matter how good your connection is, there's gonna be some extra delay on top of everything else, so it wouldn't do so well for competitive stuff
anyway, I know there was something like this being made. and I know someone made a thread about it, either in off-topic or here. I can't remember what it was called, but it shouldn't be too hard to search. it wasn't too long ago, either
