actually that's not true, the SU podcast has been happening this whole time and they're going to debut a **New Song** during the season finale tomorrow apparently. there's been some interesting things said apparently, like the fact that ocean gem was supposed to be the last episode in the entire series. would've been a weird one

they showed all that stuff at SDCC and it built a fair amount of hype for season 5 continuing but then they squandered it by not airing the show since july

edit: good news, steven universe actually got four time slots this week! xd first air time in months
