Need help getting into an account that's with an email i dont have access to

Hey, you may/may not remember me.
I used to play blockland a lot around two - three years ago.
I ended up playing less, moving onto competitive tf2.
A few weeks ago i decided to redownload blockland to enjoy the fun i had again.
Unfortunately, the key to my account is tied to my mother's email. She passed away 4 months ago, and i have no way to log into her account.

if there is any other way i can find my account key, whether it is through forum account or if there's a way to change the email tied to the account, please let me know.

Just go to profile > Account Related Settings > Email

Then go here to request your key again:

But you can change your email on the forum.
Which in turn should send the key recovery email to the email you changed it to.

I see what you're saying. I changed it to my own email and i tried to recover a key with that email, but it says that there's no keys found for my email.

Dont get your hopes up, this happened to me once, the actual email account was deleted when my whole family got new ones. I pm'd like 5 times over the course of a month and didn't get jack stuff. I think I ended up finding a notepad with the key on it I saved somewhere.

You're only help is Badspot since you don't have any access to the email your key was tied to. You can try again, but send Badspot a message about the problem and ask what is your key that's your current account you're logged in.

because the forum software doesn't store the key. I obviously can't know for certain, but it probably just validates the key with the master server, which returns the matching ID to the forum software if the key is valid. storing the actual key on the forum software would be a big security risk with little benefits
