Honestly it seems like Obama is really trying to make the year before he leaves office one of the most influential / impacting. Though, he's going to do this with, or without congress approval. What do you guys think about this?

The fact that he's taken so long to close it is one of my biggest criticisms of his presidency. I'm impressed that he's making an effort to get it done before he's out of office.
