roa should be more than enough mana early game, all i build is roa and frozen heart on karthus and really never run out (see: 78 mana/sec on karthus e)

just take our advice we are telling you the best way to do something that literally ALL high level players do and you say  'no my way is better.'

Its moreso inefficient than anything. Spiking early is a lot more important nowadays, but if he enjoys that playstyle, w/e
