sigh, so i finally finished this seasons placements and after tanking my mmr at the end of last season, i placed bronze 2 having been silver 5 previously
from bottom up ofc, i started out playing immobile adc (having picked up adc as mainrole during the pre-season expecting a heavy adc focused meta, forget me right?) with high dmg potential but soon realized it wasn't working and switched to a more mobile one so i wouldnt be totally screwed (my positioning is poo-poo)
after a break of few months from ranked i returned to a nerfed ezreal buildpath and could really feel it, even tho i won it didn't feel as strong as it was earlier. i landed back on a less mobile but more traditional dps adc, with ashe (having recently practiced her some more). she has nice (idiot-proof) self peel with the slowing AAs and a teamfight turning ult so even if i were to fall behind on lane i would always have a chance to come back and be useful
and viktor as a secondary pick if i dont get adc, i just picked him up after the mage update. i feel he is really strong and has a lot of potential to dominate the lane vs all kinds of match ups. before the brake i took i was Qing with top secondary but wasn't forced to play anything but adc untill just now.
from the level of gameplay i was already expecting this, but as the games went on and the wins piled up i was starting to get hopeful that i'd be able to land back in silver
but alas no dice
previous seasons i was content with silver, not that interested in ranking higher. but this i cant stand, i need to start the climb
