JVS update? is the old JVS broken?

Hey guys I have been using JVS since day 1 and now that I am playing the game again, most of the JVS doors in the JVS folder are not there. But when I joined my friends sever who has all the doors I have he has them all and they are in the Special folder in the brick menu. Any fixes for this? I always had them in a separate folder in the brick menu and assumed this was normal when I just started playing again then I noticed most of my content is missing even though its enabled in the add-ons menu.

I have the
JVS Content
Doors pack 0-2
Switches pack 1-2
The legends Doors
Bushido 1
and the Safe

If I don't have any that are new or I am missing that are nice could I get a link?

Make sure you disable Support_LegacyDoors, since the add-on seems to mess up JVS doors.

Also, JVS doors have not been updated in a long time (As I believe), so expect to find some bugs while using it.

yeah as far as I remember they can be a little unstable

i wouldn't even consider using jvs doors. jvs have a huge optimization issue and can drop frames drastically especially when you have a city build with jvs doors in every building

i know this isn't specifically what you're looking for, but it's the doors everybody uses nowadays

No, i could try that. and I liked the JVS doors because of the sweet trap doors and the trust level access.

to add to the reasons to not use JVS: the reset their events when you load a save with them, so you can't save any customized events

I stopped using JVS a long time ago because you can't shoot through the door's opening.

Don't do this, you can still easily use the old JVS Doors with the new LegacyDoors support system. IMO the new "doors" are inferior to the old JVS door bricks as the old ones are animated and look much nicer.

funny, i never had this problem with either JVS or Legacy support systems. JVS worked perfectly fine for me back in the day but I must admit the Legacy support system is simpler and friendlier with events, though it does not have many of the useful features JVS had, such as door stuck detection, a built-in restriction system, and player stuck in door detection.

there isnt a trap door replacement in default style afaik but there is trust level restriction event addon that was released about a month ago on the addons board
