Sven co-op released on steam

after 17 years of waiting sven coop is to be released on steam this Friday the 22nd of January. Now you might be asking why I made this thread, the reason why is because this mod is possibly one of the best mod's ever created (In my opinion). I have had countless fun on it and I have made many new friends playing it, the mod is old and nowadays there aren't many people on the servers anymore but when it's released on steam many people are probably going to get it and it'll be promoted more. The mod allows you to play Half life 1, Op4 and Blue shift in coop with as many friends as you want. There are also tons and tons of community made maps to play on it as well. Even though gold src is a bit old now this mod still lives. I would highly recommended this to anyone that has half-life 1 and likes playing games with their friends.

If you haven't heard of Glitch-Life please get it for this and you will realize how fun it is.

except it's been doing decently for a multiplayer gold-source mod for many years and the steam release may bring in some new regulars

People used it before it was on steam, a lot of people. I only stopped using it because I don't like installing non-steam games. It'll survive

The thing is, many servers (if there are many anymore) usually go empty for a long time and there is only a small base of people who still support the game. I remember playing back a while ago when Coccyx was still on and a few other of the really well known users. Coccyx left and so did most of the others, I still never remembered why Coccyx left the community.
