Geez back when I was a kid we had the 9 planets.

Mercury
☿
Venus
♀
Earth
⊕
Mars
♂
Jupiter
♃
Saturn
♄
Urstar fish
♅
Neptune
♆
Pluto

Somewhere around the year 2008 pluto was not known as a planet dropping us down to 8 planets.

Now in 2016 we find out that pluto is still not a planet but there is a new planet in our solar system now bringing us back to 9.5 planets!

Don't even get me started on the planets not even in our solar system. I was old there were no such thing besides the original 9. I bet everyone feels weird that we are finding out all these new things now. It's like we were those people who thought the earth was flat for years until someone told us it was round.

god damn it tony
I chuckled pretty hard but
god damn it
(pretty neat though for those who didn't see the other thread)

Don't they use signals that bounce back to find extra-terrestrial objects? That would have found an extra planet

There are like three dwarf planets in our solar system other than Pluto, also

Please, I can only handle one new thing about our solar system at a time.

I was raised to believe in school only our solar system planets existed and pluto was a planet.

You know how people say that we know less about the ocean than we know about space?

Well, that's a lie. There is clearly way too much to know about space.

pluto is only 19,680 light seconds away though.
thats not even close to a decade. thats like a 11 hour total trip at radio speed

I think the distance you're thinking of here is light years, not light minutes.
