I'm sure his Mom knows that it's really just a free speech thing.
Free speech? In SCHOOL?! What are you, crazy?

This is sort of a long way to go for a prank, don't you think?
Why are you getting the law involved in this over a prank?

So basically to total all this up together:

>Makes club as a joke
>People for some reason want to join your Satanic club?
>You then proceed to make this a legitimate club?
>(This is where I get confused) You then change the main goal of the club and make it about freedom-of-speech?

I'm so loving confused, and why would you make a Satan-related club and not expect a LITTLE backlash from your fellow students, considering how about 60 - 80% of Americans are Christians, or at-least have a faith which includes Satan/The Devil

Zealot you magnificent son of a bitc-lawyer
May Lucifer guide your travels.

I hope this spreads, maybe it'll loosen people up (after they get done with their tantrum)

Because they have really started to be starfishs to him over it.

He knows what he's doing, and people followed him

because it's a hilarious idea and ideally people would think it's hilarious and not be legitimately offended at the idea that someone follows a certain religion

Just imagine if he'd made a club for a real religion, like 'Spartans for Allah'!

Because they have really started to be starfishs to him over it.
They kind of deserve to. He makes a club that started out with the specific goal to make people angry and disrupt the peace and then he gets mad when people try to stop him? I would understand if he were an actual satanist and really wanted to make a cool club for his fellow devil worshipers, then his case is legitimate.
The fact that this thing started as a prank designed to get people to be mad is not helping his case.

the problem is that the reaction would have been exactly the same if it was a genuine attempt to make a club for something he believed in

"On Friday, we are holding a meeting on how to make pipe bombs"

the problem is that the reaction would have been exactly the same if it was a genuine attempt to make a club for something he believed in
But he didn't believe in it.
He has no reason to fight for this club because he has no stake in this.

What is he fighting so hard for? He'd be better off dedicating this kind of effort to his studies. It'll be easier for everyone if he stops and even if he wins there aren't any rewards.

Where did he say he was mad? And this is more than the school just being mad, they are disrupting his daily life over a group. Not to mention he got death threats. On top of that he's not even the trouble, everyone else is.

free speech? freedom of religion?

What is he fighting so hard for?
Freedom of Speech, and equal rights.

free speech? freedom of religion?
But it's not his religion! It's a joke!

Just imagine if he'd made a club for a real religion, like 'Spartans for Allah'!
The club would be blowing up
