But it's not his religion! It's a joke!
it doesn't matter. they would've reacted this way if it had been genuine. that is, like I said, the problem

But it's not his religion! It's a joke!
The other students and the school don't know that.

Something doesn't have to affect you directly for you to fight for it.

the fact that other students might be treated the same way for other things is reason enough to make a club that's a safe haven from things like that

The club would be blowing up
That was an explosive joke

Welcome to 2016, as of 2015 a majority of men cut their balls off and are now constantly offended. Must be the new fad

It's time for other schools, and other people. Satan folks needa comma togetha

Mmh, this thread is one for the annals of BLF history. Love it.

''causes a riot''
this is kinda click-baitish for me because first thing i think of is like an actual riot

''lawyers are coming''
technically only 1 lawyer is coming aka ur mom

fix or i will be offended

So... A safe space?

So... A safe space?

i've been triggered by this

So basically to total all this up together:

>Makes club as a joke
>People for some reason want to join your Satanic club?
>You then proceed to make this a legitimate club?
>(This is where I get confused) You then change the main goal of the club and make it about freedom-of-speech?

I'm so loving confused, and why would you make a Satan-related club and not expect a LITTLE backlash from your fellow students, considering how about 60 - 80% of Americans are Christians, or at-least have a faith which includes Satan/The Devil
We made it because we expected backlash. That's the whole point. The extreme conservative fundamentalism is almost suffocating--and it's surprisingly satisfying to just break free and yell the opposite of what they want you to. Many other students feel the same way, which is why we have a memberlist of 25. It started as a one-time thing, but once we saw the massive and unexpected backlash trying to smother our opinions, it made us feel as though this system HAD to be broken. As a small but determined minority agreed with us, we realized that forming this club might actually work, so we're gonna go for it.

It was always about freedom of speech, now more than ever.

edit: I'm attending Spartans for Christ tomorrow. Let's see how it goes!
