I think my largest problem with this game waa that all player actions have to be checked and all statistics and stats must be ran by a moderator and everything you do must also be historically accurate(which isn't always implied in an RP). There isn't a lot of leverage for implying or creating a situation to make it work in your favor, even if it's not extreme meta gaming to keep your nation tanks or something

Not gonna happen.  You've ridden on my graces long enough, and as I have not a single obligation to you, I won't grant it.

Everyone's actions for accumulating resources had to be run by me.  You're not some special case.  And therein lies your problem.  You don't have to leverage all these situations.  Part of it I assume was a mistrust for moderation as soon as you joined, resulting in having to rely on granting yourself advantages rather than relying on usage of continual development and the growth of industry and agriculture.  Also it's out of my control that you chose a piece of land thousands of miles from any rivers or oceans.

more importantly, why are you barring
everyone from expanding into that middle region? makes me think you  struck a deal with some to prevent colonization. obviously if there's conflict then that will result in war between those nations if they want to persue it

You don't have an obligation to me but I believe that it should not be ceded rather let someone else play it. I understand why you're mad at me Swat but as a last wish it would be nice to see it free. I would really like you to consider it.

And no, Swat, I trusted you and Tristan. I just found the game set up to be authoritarian.

Omg.  Guys, I'm at school away from my computer today from 10:30 to 22:30.  I can only do so much to edit the map.

I did not strike a deal with anyone there.  There are multiple people claiming the same land, which, in simulation standards, it means that two nations' occupation forces inhabit the same area.  Naturally, there'd be a land dispute or it was already decided between the competing parties, the latter of which I had no information.

Basically what Cypher said, and as I said earlier, "Sort it out amongst yourselves."

I don't mean to overimpede, baka, but isn't increasing your territory by 35% a bit much after losing nearly half of your population to massive emigration?  If you want to do that, I will do that, but it seems like your priority should be maintaining social structure and a struggling industrial complex.
