I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

The King takes note of the commander's calls for recruitment, and calls for the same for the country. As for the angry citizens, they are given money for compensation over damages. Tougher border defenses are em-placed so nothing like this can happen again.
Commanders are calling for greater reform in the military, with recruitment minimum of a 40,000-man standing army.  Citizens are upset by the monetary compensation, and lack of respect to their requests to be made safer.

agent, just an OOC note here, you realize that having a mere 1,000 man army in a nation of 5,000,000 is way too small, yeah?

dropbox y u steal our maps :((

A garrison is set to the frontier, and a fort is planned to be built at a key defensive location along the river. For now, expansion has stopped.

An official with an entourage is sent in the direction of this unheard-of nation. (npc???).

yeah, before  when i was adding 300 and under to my army i didnt want to make it look op, or godmod since i was a little discouraged about the whole 'i got 50 naval ships!!1!" situation.

The King calls for peace in the land. He informs the citizens he is doing the best that he can, he tells them that the only way to help the nation is enlisting in the army. Many other people enlist. (9,000+ Ground Troops).

Look, I'll need you to calm down and be reasonable here.  Others have consulted me about resources, and I have told them without reservation.  Why you think you have access to native cave paintings—which may or may not be a practice or part of cultural heritage—is where you stepped over the line, and it is then that you violated rule 1, which also covers "fabricating ludicrous numbers and statistics out of nowhere".  I had hoped that this implied more strongly that players could not fabricate circumstances for strategic resources of their own volition, so yes, I am sorry for being unclear, however, clever manipulation of the rules will not go unpunished.  Ask and you shall recieve; it's not that hard of a concept.

As for my lack of response, Tristan addressed you first, so I was leaving it to him.  If you requested me more directly, then I can address it.  Beating around the bush won't do you any good.

I'm just asking that you cooperate with moderators a bit more.  That's all.
That was my fault, I got a little bit excited. I'm sorry. Why am I not able to see cave paintings and why does that violate rule one? We seized native land.

Also, you know my process, what do I need to run by you? I didn't feel seeing cave painting was that extreme.

I can't invade native lands and find schematics for a machine gun painted on the wall. This is an extreme example, but it gets the point across.

What do the cave paintings portray, Swat?

The REAL problem is that you can't just say you found it as a player. Something like that, obtaining knowledge from the natives, is something a moderator really has to greenlight before you jump right into it. Hell, unless a moderator really says, they probably don't have cave paintings. I don't think cave paintings were all that common among tribes, really. I mean, the tribes that are spoken of here aren't like the Mayans with their own native empires or anything.

i mean they were but they were of things like great battles or their gods

i cant think of any off of the top of my head that had mentions of gold or water tables. not to say they didnt make paintings that included their wealth but i dont think they ever made X marks the spot where you can find $$$

What grunter said and—

It's because cave paintings historically indicate things of cultural importance.  It was things that focused on daily life and that which was easily accessible to them, such as animals, the hunt, and also of spiritual importance.  Before this, metals were of less importance as was survival.  Even when you have nomadic tribes, it required readily available and sustainable resources to settle down.  Elaborate ways to get to water and other resources would not be on cave paintings because it was not worth the concern, when they could just as easily have gone somewhere else, where water would be available.

With both Sunyong and Kyrev interests in mind, an Imperial economist points out that while Sunyong has the comparative advantage in mining resources, it does not have the advantage in production of weapons and related materials.  The economist instead suggests that the mined resources are shipped to Kyrev to be processed and manufactured.  The economist also says, boasting for his empire, that the blades of the East are far superior to that of the West, and suggests that Sunyong professional bladeworkers are sent to Kyrev to assist in replicating the blade they have for centuries prided on.  This proposal is considered by the Emperor, and has been mentioned to the Kyrev people of importance.

As for the Collineville explorers, they are welcomed graciously into the empire and their gifts accepted.  They are welcomed to be seated and dine at the Imperial palace with the Dragon himself.  From there, relations will be discussed in-depth.

Kyrev agrees to this proposal. Let our nations prosper!

With the threat of the natives now gone, settlers and farmers move East, and with them, soldiers, ground troops, and many other artillery pieces.

Kyrev agrees to this proposal. Let our nations prosper!
Several of Sunyong's finest blacksmiths are sent down-river on an all expenses paid vacation in Kyrev, where they will be staying at the Sandals Resort! by boat to begin working with Kyrev manufacturers.

They demand that the law to nationalize farms and to redistribute food be repealed indefinitely, and that a law be put in place to allow for unions.

Martial law is enforced, and many rioters resist military police.  Hundreds across the nation end up dead as the MPs fire into belligerent crowds.

Surround the Parliament.

Enforce a curfew throughout Sonodine City and in Shasta. Anyone caught not indoors by curfew is subject to arrest.

Riots will be disbanded through use of force, however we will use warn the rioters to disband 2 times before opening fire.
