Romek-Inen warns the county of Sunyong not to expand into the Romekati sphere of influence.

At the start of the new year, Conservatia finds itself in the hands of its own national wonder. The creation of a Supergun has been completed. Dubbed Xian Gun, after the city it was built and resides in. Both massive in bore and length, it is designed as a defensive armament, though it is more of a ornament than anything.

A sister cannon, somewhat smaller, was made as well, but was sent to Arcon as a gift along with the approval of their offer regarding the rifles.

Arcon is also offered to make a development pact, in an offer to help develop more superior firearms later on as well much quicker, and to share designs.

In an effort to expand north-east due to the expansions in the south, Conservatia begins a propaganda campaign to support mass-colonization to the east to support industrial, economical, and agricultural needs. Tribal clans are offered to be brought in as provinces, and reap the benefits of joining while maintaining a healthy sum of autonomy, so long as they covert to Islam. Those who deny will be enslaved, and will be forced into labor or sold off to those whom will buy. Natives, themselves, are offered benefits as well if they assist in the colonization, and mapping of the east, as to understand the lands they aim to make theirs.

1.  That still doesn't answer my question.  Kringleberg did not notify me that he is inactive and has posted acting as his nation since then.  He also hasn't said that he would be leaving the RP, which would merit you receiving as much as 10% of the land.  Since I hadn't received a clear answer, I'm led to believe that you're trying to dodge Rules 3 and 9.  I'll be awaiting a clear answer before midnight tonight, PST.  It there is no answer directly from Kringleberg, I will assume that he has left the RP, and the asset inheritance rule will be applied.  In that event, I will allow you to choose which assets you would like to keep.  These rules were put in place to prevent such exploitive actions.
2.  It's essentially doing what was done for the WDC, except the statement of purpose listed there would be altered to adequately explain the role of Washk and Valbrand.

Jun, those rates apply for modern militaries.  Remember that if the military is antiquated, there's a bit more wiggle room since more manpower is required over firepower in more antiquated practices.

Arcon is happy at the arrival at such a powerful weapon, however, since Arcon has no enemies, it is locked up in storage.  Arcon also agrees to the development pact, and happily begins to build factories to produce the rifles.

The colonization campaign succeeds overwhelmingly with the patriotic populous.  Of the local tribes, 86% agree to assimilate, and the remaining 14%, geographically furthest from Conservatia, refuse and declare war.  Small-scale infighting overtakes the region.

An 'army' is constructed (10,000 Infantry)

i don't think +6% is wiggle room if the base percentage of the population that can be military already is 5%

we're talking having double the healthy value when they're not even fighting anyone. even with military conscription for home defense that's a high percentage

Not saying it's still unhealthy, just that if he has slightly antiquated armies, he has a bit of wiggle room.  5-7% → 6.7-9%.

In the future, you'll need to make the actions for expansion.  Washk cannot do it unless you formally go inactive (See Rule 3e).

Kyrev supports Espovon claims in the southern corridor.

Romek-Inen warns the county of Sunyong not to expand into the Romekati sphere of influence.
Upon hearing word of this, the Emperor tilts his head inquisitively, and asks the question, "Who?"

Expansion into the northeast continues as planned, and mines begin to spring up.  The richness of said mines is to be determined.

The Sunyong explorers are delighted to find that, in their most recent ventures, they have found merchants speaking similar language to theirs.  Ironically enough, they turn out to not be from the host nation, but in fact from a nation far north known as Conservatia.  The merchants trade maps and share drinks at local pubs, before the explorers turn back and head toward home, as they have obtained extensive maps of the region.

With these maps, Sunyong is able to refine trade-routes from south to north, boosting trade efficiency.

Trade fleets and caravans leave from Sunyong now exporting minerals all the way to Conservatia.  Merchants also make stops along the way to explore the coasts their new maps detail, finding more nations to establish trade with.

e: To support such lengthy trade routes, the Emperor also cuts back on military spending.  The size of his army is cut down by almost a half of its current size.  Some soldiers however are told that in times of war they may still be called upon, but for now they must return to the labor force.

Rusa Kavalleri hunt down and kill the explorers and miners. The explosives the miners brought with them are hauled in with their bodies to the deepest mine, and set alight. The mines are caved in, and their settlement is burned. A lone flag remains unsinged- the Romekati field ensign, mounted on a pike. The pike itself, however, is currently holding up the head of the Sunyong expedition leader.

The Romekati army is mobilized, including all mixed regiments. Overall, 400,000 men are ready for deployment, and 320,000 are sent south. The war bells chime a great and terrible sound today, lads.

You loving brought it on boyo.

An ultimatum is sent for Espovon to cease their southward attempts of expansion.

wtf is with that land advance

I just want to connect to kyrev

I'll post some more once I'm back on desktop

Armakhal sends a series of ships to the island to the south of Ash-Shakh in attempts to take it and claim it for the Republic.

With growing tensions in the south, Armakhal sends a development offer down to Sunyong -- though it can't develop much, it offers to produce food and clothing for the nation's troops in exchange for a small sum of money. The same offer is sent to Conservatia in hopes to boost Armakhal's economy and world standing.

Conservatia wholeheartedly accepts.

Some soldiers however are told that in times of war they may still be called upon, but for now they must return to the labor force.
And then, they were called upon.

The Emperor rallies his armies, sending them north.  A portion of the Emperor's guard are sent to the front to assist in battle.  They bear the battle flag of the Empire.

The Emperor is also told of mercenaries for hire from the north.  He pays the full price to have them brought in.  Messengers are sent to Arcon, Seris, Favrath, and Gruzia* to inform them that this savage northern nation has infringed upon Sunyong mines, disrupting the flow of steel from one nation to another, and calls for their aid.

*Gruzia because you're an ally of Kyrev and I can only assume that you're getting in on the weapons trade through them.

The Emperor also accepts this proposal, but cannot spare much, as the war will already be straining the available funds that Sunyong has.
