I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

tbh i am mild about the micromanaging of technology that avalonia and others are doing

its a nice read, but tech races always happen in these games and it becomes a bit too much, because people just research research r&d r&d and that is all what the game comes to be late game. this is why jairo and others stopped the micromanaging of technology. its as if others who can't figure out good ideas are left in the dirt (because they are). some people too scared to just be accused of "copying", or just too scared of being marked as going off too much from history.

with this amount of people in this rp, i think that aspect should be limited.

tell me i'm wrong, but i know i'm so, so right.

your arrogance is showing, 3.

Neutrality is declared.

Neutrality is declared.

Although I don't like it, Fravath is declared neutral through Kyrev.

Romekati forces retreat to the heartland (this includes Sonodine).
just kidding, they're still advancing even though the diplomat says otherwise
They position themselves for optimal skirmish defense, minimizing their own losses while causing maximum attrition problems for the enemy.

The few factories that Armakhal has begin going to work, employing a large work force within the main cities. Food such as breads, cheeses, grapes, and wines begin being produced along side military clothing for the nations of Conservatia and Sunyong. Within the coming months, large orders are expected to be completed and shipped down along the coast to Sunyong and to Conservatia.

The Sunyong armies stay put, opting to avoid further conflict and continue development of their nation peacefully.

Does this mean you call off your plans for northern expansion?

Does this mean you call off your plans for northern expansion?
It means that Sunyong forces take back what was taken from them after expansion and stay put.

It means that Sunyong forces take back what was taken from them after expansion and stay put.
A roundabout way of saying no.

The Emperor is also told of mercenaries for hire from the north.  He pays the full price to have them brought in.

The mercenary companies residing in Conservatia hop on ferries and head south to assemble at Sunyong. Assuming they're not interfered with, when they arrive, they're at the command of the Sunyong military leaders.

The 'Army' Grows. (20,000 Infantry) Some factories are constructed, and artillery is created. (32 Cannons)

Arcon declares neutrality in the conflict.  Any ships that come into Arconian waters with effort to aid the war effort will be directed by the Arconian navy away from any ports.

your arrogance is showing, 3.
i'm entirely omitting that statement because its gay and richardish and takes away from the argument.

no one wants to micromanage, and those who do practically force the hand of others to do it, because its a considered thing (in wars and general "bestest"/richardwagging). technology will escalate, the realm of possibility will be reached and passed late game. its not really part of the core game - its not taught. people (especially newcomers) don't know what to expect/what they need to do - no one really cares to do it unless the elders like pleth or swat start doing it.

what i'm saying is this is nation forge - iron desert. not research and development forge - tech race desert.

ok. i'll take this out of thread for now, and ask of swat to discuss any concerns and rebut.

angland hears of a conflict from arcon, and scratches its head. "wat" it says in a simple statement.
