I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

A hundred years from now history students will wonder what mad spirits possessed Kyrev and Romek leaders to transport so much salt.
For your own sake, please don't be a bad sport.

The Grúzian forces manage to fight back and keep the gunboats at a distance, however, they continue upstream toward Suqiu.  The gunboats, as they pursue the forces, find outside of Suqiu that they are now trapped between a large Kyrevian force that pushed through the south, pillaging towns all the way until it lay across the river.  Artillery is pointed toward the city and at the gunboats in the river.  The northern front, in defending against Romekate forces, has managed to hold them off.  The Romekate forces, found to have inferior weaponry, despite the advanced cavalry strategy, cannot break the Sunyong formation and dwindle at 27% of their original force, whereas the Sunyong force remains at 83% of their original force.

It is found that the Conservations will have to prepare for 6 months in order to properly train the foreign forces.

abuses the rock deposits
Holy stuff lol.

Banning Christianity seems pretty big. Even I didn't ban Christianity. Should you help in the war and be given independence, Conservatia will drill you in policing and maintaining order. Otherwise, you will be considered Romekkian and dealt with as such. Last chance.

We will not help you in the war. We are in no state to be warring. Our economy is in the abyss. We cannot.

Is my territory going to be moved? Because I had a spot on the map but it hasn't changed

I subscribe to the idea of: if you can't take it, don't dish it.

Romekati forces begin to withdraw with their wounded in tow. They withdraw to their encampments and set up temporary fortifications while they treat casualties and get consolidated by the steady albeit small stream of reinforcements due north.

I dont want to make the same mistake that i did before when I was Nami. But I'll slow it down.

The Dictator thinks that this is enough military for one year, and furthermore, the military growth will slow down, and growth will occur each year for each regiment of the army.

Romekati forces begin to withdraw with their wounded in tow. They withdraw to their encampments and set up temporary fortifications while they treat casualties and get consolidated by the steady albeit small stream of reinforcements due north.
The Sunyong in the north continue to hold their ground, the imperial guard switch up their positions to prevent from being found.  They also make efforts to disguise themselves with the terrain.

The Kyrevian force finds that they are immediately fired upon by artillery from Suqiu.  The large wall surrounding the city remains standing with cannons ready to open fire as soon as the enemy is within range.  The gunboats focus their fire on the Kyrevians while the Conservatian mercenaries begin to push back against the Gruzians.

Conservatian forces split, leaving a number of policing forces to remain in Sonodine to maintain order as the rest of their forces converge, preparing to begin a march for Romek-Inen.

Then consider my sparing you a act of good will, I advise you to not take it for granted.

Diehard members of the Constabulary begin counting the regiments and artillery pieces occupying Sonodine. They will embark by horse to return the message to Romek @ night

Other members of the Constabulary will set up a distraction so the real messengers can depart and get to Romek-Inen.

Citizens are restricted from leaving during the occupation. Any individuals who attempt to leave find will find themselves either shot down or imprisoned, and the rest of the civilian populace will be punished as well, with curfew instated, and food being confiscated and to be rationed back.

However, a few may be able to get through, but this will only infuriate the occupants more, and should they get out, will prompt reinforcements.

The more desperate the attempts, the more severe the punishments. Continued resistance will result in annexation.

Avalonian reporters request Conservatian and WDC permission to head to Sonodine to provide more up to date and accurate information on the war's happenings to the Avalonian people and government.

These reporters are permitted, but must be escorted by Conservatian soldiers to ensure no details are leaked.

Avalonian trade to areas farther South than the Wienzan city of Venfurt dwindles as the perceived risk of travel to nations engaging in war is heightened by scattered reports of what's been happening in the actual war.  Shipping to the North, however, including coal to prearranged buyers in Anglond at low rates continues, as these seas are perceived to be more safe due to Arcon's presence.  Most Avalonians believe that no side holds the moral high ground in this war, and simply hope that the fatherland, for which they would willingly spill their own and foreign blood, will not require such a sacrifice in these dark times.

Will you be needing assistance when you march on Romen-Inen? I have many troops to spare.
