Avalonia pushes forward construction of defensive infrastructure at its borders. Espovon, Gruzia, and Kyrev are encouraged not to interfere with Avalonian anything or bring their battles into Avalonia or its waters, lest their actions cause a violent Avalonian response.
The Avalonian militias are mobilized, as in Avalonia's regular armed forces. Patriotism is running strong, as many Avalonians feel that honoring the military alliance with Arcon and defending the fatherland is a point of national honor. Despite this, there is little desire to fight a war of aggression, and Avalonia pledges to defend Arcon, if not aid it in invading other nations.
Avalonian war correspondents go out to the battle lines of the world, reporting on conditions and important developments without giving tactical specifics that could drastically affect outcomes.
Chancellor Manfred Hall gives a speech in Nazgar rallying the citizenry to defend the fatherland against any who may try to harm it, quoting the words of Vjornsberg on national defense: "Foreign powers will always prove a threat to the sovereignty of this fine nation. While we must not antagonize them, there is no backing down from them - to give an inch is to lose a mile, and it is better to spill gallons of blood to defend that inch than to appease some foreign monster with it only to be forced to appease again and again and again."
