Remaining Avalonian troops in Arcon stick to their support and anti-reinforcement roles while Arconian Loyalist forces fight in the streets of Aurege.  Aurege is the most heavily defended city to come under assault yet, but the continued training and support given to CA fighters by Avalonia provides them with enough of an edge to take the city, albeit with higher loss of life and infrastructure to all sides.  The joint forces prepare for the final push on Odvyn.  Logistics are expected to be more of a problem, as PNP forces sabotage or destroy railroads, telegraph lines, and bridges as they are routed from CA controlled territory.

Avalonia makes a final effort to end things in Arcon diplomatically.

Avalonian efforts to reach a less violent resolution to the Arconian Civil War look bleak as of now.  With most of Arcon under the control of the CA, almost all but the most die hard believers in the PNP have accepted the inevitable and the legitimate regime.  The die-hards, however, have been forced into their last stronghold: Odvyn, and show no signs of being willing to surrender, despite the presence of airships raining down propaganda on the city, Arco-Avalonian naval vessels blockading the port following the destruction of coastal defenses and a large defection from the PNP navy, and land forces have surrounding the city.  Although there is skirmishing on the outskirts of the city and a steady exchange of artillery fire, there is little fighting actually happening as of now as both sides have heavily entrenched themselves and any direct attack on either side would prove costly.  Morale is high among CA forces, but so is fanaticism within the remains of the PNP.

Avalonia puts forth its proposal to Arcon for reconstruction, the general details of which have been noted in previous posts, but a minor recap: the upper class needs to cultivate good pr by accepting limitations on inherited privilege, and not go on PNP witch hunts once this is all over (trials and executions of of leaders good, mob violence bad).

East Arcon has an administrative system linking itself to New Romekate implemented. The reasoning for this is simple; civilians can only endure martial law for so long.

The Arconian Civil War declines rapidly as Lamontagne is found dead at his office with a bullet through his head and his gun near his hand where he fell and his cabinet members have fled the country.  Tristan Babin is arrested in Anglond and the mangled body of Jacques Lésperance is paraded by Izlandian nationals.

Önecht IV thanks Valbrandsvag for its offer to help, but refuses, as such an action late in the war was futile.

After the civil war grinds to a halt, although the crown has won, a bitter taste is left in the mouth where many, even those among CA supporters, believe that titles and royalty should not have the same power that they had before the war, inciting classist sentiment that divides Arcon.  This is something that Önecht IV recognizes, and wishes to alleviate.

The administration is maintained. Occupying forces are numerically bolstered. The border is further fortified. Defenses include several artillery emplacements optimized for destroying siege equipment.

Forces in the occupied land are to maintain Romekate and Anglish sovereignty. Rebellions are to be stiffly dealt with, although citizens compliant with this new shift in rule are treated as any other citizen within the Realm.
