The 950 is around 200$ and lower and thats above average. To be honest,The 730 is way above average because most people use integrated graphics.

i'm going to apply for more jobs after a month because i have to get stuff out of my system (i quit don't worry)

your pentium will hold for most cases unless you play some triple a titles on ultra settings or if you do extreme video editing
just focus on getting a better gpu

even some games that don't require a lot of graphical power need 4 cores. what do i do about that though?
