why would i need to reinstall windows?
just saying you probably want to on a hardware change of that magnitude, you don't have to if you don't want to. it's more to avoid running into stuff.

why would i need to reinstall windows?
When you change that much hardware it usually very possible for lots of drivers to start acting up.

I think as of Windows 10 the refresh option works just as well though, since refresh only reinstall core system files, and you could probably uninstall other drivers beforehand,

is 80+ bronze good enough? since i'm going with this pentium, i'm gonna have to oc it

researching more, that psu is destined to fail, and i can't find one where at least one of the reviews say it blew up and ruined their hard drives and such. is there a good one for <70 dollars? keep in mind i'm probably gonna get gtx 950 or something in the future.

that evga psu i showed you was sufficent for $45, 80+ bronze certified and everything.

EVGA PSUs are gold/platinum tier on that list.

you really can't beat it for the price and a premium that titanium tier psus on said list requires you probably can't afford.

The best brands for power supplies are XFX, Seasonic, and Antec, only because they use high quality Japanese solid capacitors.

here's a list of PSUs of varying qualities complied by the pc master race (reddit?)

or you can be like me and have a 250W foxconn PSU in this one desktop i have and power a 9800gt in it.

a 250w psu in a 450W machine... don't ask me how this machine worked at all much less for 4 loving years straight.

i'm not replacing it now since this machine is on the verge of being decommisioned (it has a 9800gt paired with an amd athlon x2 first gen for forgets sake)

also on further evaluation i was wrong about the psu thing, but again your budget you have to figure out something unless you're willing to raise your budget which you never really elaborated on its flexibility

the psu i have is considered worst lol. according to the list, i shouldn't overclock on the psu you listed me. i'm p sure i'm gonna need to overclock this pentium or there's no point in getting it.

i can't say stuff past this point because i simply dont know how flexible your budget is

i'm too confused about your budget to even say anything
