This game is quite easy but sometime's, I do feel that there is too much to concentrate on. Also, most of the abilitie's i've seen so far seem really unfair.
the majority of the heroes have clear counterplay and their ultimates are usually not too ridiculous I.e. reaper can be bursted while spinning, pharah has to remain in one spot and can die while ulting, mercy is pure utility, etc.

Is anyone else having problems with queues? Literally have to wait 5 minutes every game.

i feel like most people in this topic are way overhyping the game
it's just ok

Wowe, people like a game, better tell them they are wrong for doing so.

Um wat
most classes move slow and even the fast ones arent "fast", movement options are limited to walljumps, double jumps, limited explosive jumping, and floating at the most which may sound like a lot but most of them are also tied to the movespeed and limited by map design, most of the maps are extremely linear, the classes are generally limited to shooting and two abilities with a limited ultimate and the abilities almost always do very little for the skill ceiling, and because of the movement speed positional advantage is key instead of dodging. it feels less hard than tf2 so if tf2 is your standard for anything there you go.

this

might as well play tf2 for free instead of spend 40 for this on release

i didn't say anyone was wrong, good misinterpretation there.

Okay, we'll catalog your opinion and... Well I really don't know what we do with these things other than throw all of them in the shredder. But seriously, I can see how you would think it's only alright. It certainly has its issues. However, it does have it merits. What are some of your gripes?

This is on purpose, and while the long walkback for some heroes is annoying, it's necessary.

most of the maps are extremely linear

The maps are NOT linear, sorry. The objective path is linear (Which is fine), but the full maps are not at all.

the classes are generally limited to shooting and two abilities with a limited ultimate and the abilities almost always do very little for the skill ceiling

Really? I feel like you haven't even played the game yet. Heroes like Tracer and Genji have some incredibly high skill ceilings. There are some heroes that are very easy to start playing, but those are limited and are normally easy to counter.

and because of the movement speed positional advantage is key instead of dodging

This isn't true, movement speed is not key at all. Positioning, team comp, and skill are though.

it feels less hard than tf2 so if tf2 is your standard for anything there you go.

Still don't know how you can say a multiplayer shooter is 'easy' unless you are specifically good at the game. The fact is that if people are better than you, you are going to lose.

You didn't say it, but you sure as hell implied it.

No.
i literally stated my opinion twice. that's it. i'm not saying anyone's wrong; i can respect other opinions

nonono, thing is, i like the game. it's fun. it's just not.. "ASAAASH THIS GAME 10/10"
it's a good game. it just seems to be overhyped

-snip-
As someone who plays TF2 competitively, the game is a different take on a team based shooter. The skill ceilings are no longer aim or advanced techniques, it's more related to good decision making, positioning, supporting your team and filling your role while finding ways to step outside said role while still fulfilling it. In other words this game takes more creativeness/intelligence/team cohesion than aim and skill like TF2 (where in reality in TF2 everywhere except for extremely high levels of play, you can win through sheer skill and 0 cohesion). That's not to say aim doesn't matter as having good aim will definitely assist you. Simply put it's not for everyone because of this fact.

By saying we are "overhyping the game" and "it's just ok" gives the implication that we are wrong for hyping the game as much as we are. It's fine if that's not what you meant, but that's how it came off to me.

I would like to add that while the game is best compared to TF2 when describing it to a friend, in reality it really isn't that similar. The game modes are the same and some of the heroes play similarly, but that's pretty much it.
