the only "OP" thing about bastion is when his team is supporting him so you can't get to him

yeah, hes fine when its just you against him, but when he has teammates, they just have to be competent enough to know how to shoot their guns at you and bastion instantly becomes a huge issue that is near impossible to deal with, you can't take out his team because the second you move into the open, you get gunned down and you cant kill the bastion because if you try to take him out, his entire team kills you.

all of those counters DO work on their own definitely though.

There is ALWAYS a better comp. If the enemy team is protecting a bastion, try a Zarya + Hanzo ult.

His basic attack also does loads of damage on his crit spot

I pretty much only play Roadhog and Torbjorn, as a matter of fact i just unlocked that tribal legendary skin for Roadhog in a lootbox, neato
Also, that russian factory map i forgot the name of has these fast moving platforms right? Set up a turret hit molten core near the enemy and laugh your loving ass off at how ineffective but hillarious it is

It's true.  I've been playing the closed beta for a couple months and have heard from dozens of high-level players that he's pointless to use at their skill level.  This is probably because the elite players can counter him easier.

half a second of her refrigerator air is enough to prevent you from being able to turn quick enough to kill her eskimo ass before you're frozen solid... there's not much skill behind circling an enemy and getting some point-blank headshots on an immobile enemy lol

this is why you dont go near mei and shoot her from a distance
or just mccree her to death
